"Across a barren wasteland, The remains of an ancient civilization unravel." – Devoid

Devoid is a large tier 17 challenge tier obby frequently referred to as being among the hardest obbies in all of Roblox. Featuring over 2,000 jumps in one obby, Devoid is considered as being close to the human limit of precision platforming, particularly in terms of endurance. Starting at the bottom of a barren wasteland, players must climb a dark staircase leading to the main obby. The obby starts off forgiving with easy-enough jumps, but later evolves into an extremely challenging and unforgiving obby. Like many absurdly difficult challenge obbies before it, Devoid features little catch zones, so failures can set you back hours. Only 3 players have beaten the obby in Hardcore mode, usually taking upwards of 4 hours in their runs.

Gameplay

While difficult, the gameplay Devoid showcases doesn't really rely on ultra thin jumps and platforms, but rather consistent difficulty and length, making it feel more like an endurance obby than a extremely challenging one. As the obby features over 2,000 jumps (as claimed in the description), it requires consistent high-level gameplay to complete. Players can play in any of four modes: regular, hardcore, practice, and checkpoints mode.

Design

Devoid takes place in a barren dark wasteland. From the spawn, you can observe a silhouette the dark obby looming above you.

Victors

Only 3 players have ever beaten Devoid, according to its badges. Many attempts exceed the 4 hour mark.
